By accessing or using the MyMacroTable application and website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MyMacroTable is a platform that helps users find macro-friendly meals at cafes and restaurants. The Service includes:
  • Searching for nearby cafes and restaurants with nutritional information
  • Scanning restaurant menus using your device camera to extract nutritional data
  • Saving favourite locations and menu items
  • Setting dietary preferences and nutritional goals
  • Viewing macro breakdowns (protein, carbohydrates, fats, calories) for menu items

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

5. Nutritional Information Disclaimer

The nutritional information provided through MyMacroTable, including macro breakdowns obtained through menu scanning, is for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy:
  • Nutritional values are estimates and may vary based on preparation methods, portion sizes, and ingredient substitutions.
  • Menu-scanned data is generated using automated image processing and may contain errors.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any nutritional information.
  • Users with food allergies, medical dietary requirements, or health conditions should consult a healthcare professional and verify information directly with the restaurant.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by MyMacroTable and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.

7. User Content

By submitting content to the Service (including reviews, ratings, and photos), you grant MyMacroTable a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

8. Cafe and Restaurant Listings

MyMacroTable displays information about third-party cafes and restaurants. We do not endorse, control, or guarantee the quality, safety, or accuracy of any establishment listed on our platform. Your interactions with these businesses are solely between you and the business.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page in the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyMacroTable shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from reliance on nutritional information provided through the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
